We invite you to come spend a night, or two, or three at the farm and experience farm life in a beautiful setting. You can choose to participate in the routines of the farm: help with planting or weeding or harvesting…or not. Find a quiet place to relax. Read, birdwatch, enjoy the sunset from the porch or the pasture, idle in the quiet Lavaca River, watch the guinea hens patrol the farm (and the dogs patrol the guineas), kick back by the bonfire, enjoy a refreshing soak in the cool tub in warmer weather or a relaxing soak in the hot tub on cooler evenings.
After working up an appetite in the fresh air, you can help pick ingredients and enjoy a delicious, almost entirely farm-to-table meal. We’re always happy to accommodate individual dietary needs.
Our farm is a fun and exciting place for children, and during your visit it will be easy to occupy and entertain and enlighten them. After all, how many kids (or grown ups) really know where their veggies come from and how they’re grown? The farm is a fascinating place for explorers – young and old.

We have a variety of options for overnight stays. Our new guest house, the Casita, has a spacious covered porch perfect for sunrises, sunsets and birdwatching. The Casita has two separate bedrooms (one king, one queen) each with en suite baths. The rooms are stylish and charming, with views of the citrus grove. We also encourage camping – bring your own gear and enjoy access to an outdoor shower and bathroom.
In addition to helping harvest for chefs and for market, or for meals while on the farm, you’re welcome to harvest produce to take home to cook in your kitchen. We love to share what we know about our crops and growing methods. Our hope is that we can inspire others to grow what they eat.
