Knopp Branch Farm CSA Policies
We do all we can to assure a full and wonderful harvest, but weather, etc., are beyond our control and harvest yields may not always be as bountiful as we planned. Knopp Branch Farm cannot guarantee the delivery of specific crops at specific times in specific quantities.
- As a CSA member, I understand it is my responsibility to pick up my share of food from the designated pickup location during the designated time frame. Late or missed pick-ups are not eligible for credits.
- Make sure you sign in to indicate that you have picked up your share.
- If I cannot pick up my farm share, I understand that it is my responsibility to choose one of these options:
- Make arrangements to have someone pick up my share and check off my name on the sign-in sheet.
- Notify KBF that I would like to donate that week’s share.
- As a CSA member, I understand that if I do not pick up my share within the distribution time frame, it will be donated to an interested party or facility, designated by pickup location host or KBF.
- Payments: Knopp Branch Farm CSA accepts cash, check or Paypal.
- Cancellation: Knopp Branch Farm CSA subscriptions are seasonal and paid for in advance. I understand that Knopp Branch Farm does not offer refunds; however, I am aware that I can transfer my membership to anyone who agrees to the CSA policy. It is my responsibility to notify Knopp Branch Farm of any membership transfers.
- Knopp Branch Farm CSA communicates with its members mainly through email updates that include share contents, recipes and/or tips for processing and handling of certain food items, farm and weather updates, policy changes, etc. Knopp Branch Farm CSA does not sell or rent our email list.
- As a CSA member, I understand that it is my responsibility to open and read the emails so that I stay informed. If my email address or any other contact information changes, I will email (info at knoppbranchfarm dot com) or call 361.782.7445.
